Motherhood is a calling.

Your life is blessedly, chaotically full... and you wouldn't want it any other way. Your family is growing and changing everyday and you want to be present for it and never forget.

Your days are full of little people constantly calling your name, of diaper changes, story reading, song singing, snot wiping, boo boo kissing.

You're the Mischief Manager, the taxi driver, the coach, the cook, the counselor... the finder of all random things.

Hey, I'm Sarah.

I serve Tifton and surrounding South Georgia families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond by offering both birth photography and doula support.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: mothers deserve to feel supported, present, and seen
.
A few years ago, I went looking for photos of myself to do a “decade challenge” that was trending on social media. I couldn’t find any.

A decade earlier, I was deep in the trenches of motherhood with a toddler, a newborn, and a husband who worked all the time. Like so many mothers, I was the one driving the proverbial bus. I was the one behind the camera. And without realizing it, I had slowly disappeared from the frame.

That experience stayed with me.

It revealed something deeper about motherhood. How often women carry everything, how often we're present for everyone else. How rarely we’re truly supported or witnessed in the moments that matter most.

Photographing mothers and birth felt like a natural first step. A way to honor the power, vulnerability, and intensity of those moments. But over time, I felt a pull to do more. To be more present. To offer steadiness, reassurance, and support alongside the storytelling.

Now, my work lives at the intersection of those things.

I support women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—and I document those seasons in a way that reflects what they felt like, not just how they looked. The strength. The tenderness. The quiet moments in between.

Whether I’m supporting you as a doula, documenting your birth, or doing both, my goal is the same:

To help you feel seen.
To help you feel respected.
And to help you remember that you mattered here, too.

My kids insist I would be Slytherin, but just like Harry, I'd have to insist otherwise. I'd like to say I'm Gryffindor, but really i'm probably Hufflepuff.

Speaking of kids, I have 7. My youngest is living his best toddler life and my oldest is about to be a senior in high school.
